Terms & Conditions

By booking and taking part in a photoshoot session, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Work Product

Your edited digital images will be delivered via private online gallery within 14 days of your photoshoot. Sneak peeks may be shared earlier via social media or direct message (unless you’ve opted out of image sharing).

Physical products (prints, albums, etc.) will be ordered within 7 days of your approval and usually arrive within 2–4 weeks. The number of digital and printed images, as well as the type of album, depends on the Collection you’ve selected.

Digital galleries will remain active for 2 weeks. Your images are stored securely for 3 months after your session. After this time, files may no longer be available, so it’s important to download and back up your images promptly.

Payment

The session fee is £200 and is required to confirm your booking. This is non-refundable and secures your session date and time. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash, or PayPal.

The full Collection fee must be paid before your chosen digital images are made available for download. Additional digital images may be purchased at £20 per image.

Prices are listed in GBP and include VAT. They are current at the time of booking and can be found on the Pricing page.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

The session fee is non-refundable if you cancel.

If you or a family member is ill or if poor weather prevents an outdoor session, we can reschedule free of charge. One reschedule is permitted per session and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

If you need to reschedule for any other reason, please notify me at least 24 hours beforehand. Last-minute rescheduling or a no-show may result in forfeiting your session fee.

If I am unable to carry out the session due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergency, etc.), your session fee will be refunded in full or transferred to a new date—your choice.

Tardiness

Please arrive on time. Delays on your part may reduce the length of the session, which could affect the number and variety of images delivered. Extra time cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals, especially for outdoor or natural light sessions.

Use of Images / Publicity

By default, booking a session grants permission for Zofia May Photography to use selected images for portfolio use, including on my website, social media, and printed promotional materials. This may include images of you, your children, and your home (if relevant).

If you prefer your images to remain private, you must let me know in writing before your session. You may also request removal of any published images at any time after the session.

Waiver of Liability

Zofia May Photography is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during your session. You understand that participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

This includes circumstances beyond my control such as equipment failure, accidents, weather disruption, or loss of digital files. While every effort is made to keep your images safe and secure, liability for lost or damaged images is limited to a full refund of any money paid toward the session.

Copyright & Image Use

All photographs are the property of Zofia May Photography and protected by UK copyright law. You are purchasing a personal-use licence, meaning you can print, share with family and friends, and post online (with credit appreciated).

Images may not be altered or edited in any way, including adding filters, changing colours or exposure, cropping, or applying overlays or graphics.

Data Protection & GDPR Compliance

Zofia May Photography complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By booking a session, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information (such as your name, contact details, and session information) for the purposes of communication, scheduling, invoicing, and delivering your photography services.

Your personal data will never be sold or shared with third parties, and will be stored securely.

Images from your session may be used for marketing or portfolio purposes only with your permission (see “Publicity” above).

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data held about you. If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact me at zofiamayphotography@gmail.com.

Travel Fees

Sessions within the London Borough of Croydon do not incur travel fees. Travel to other parts of London, or areas outside the M25, may require a small additional fee. Please enquire for a personalised quote.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of issue. They can be redeemed toward a session fee or collection and are not redeemable for cash.

General

Zofia May Photography reserves the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
